What to bring
If your insurance covers mastectomy bras or a breast form, bring your prescription if you have one, or just call ahead and we will check whether one is already on file for you. A prescription for these items is valid for one year and can come from your primary care physician or your oncologist. Beyond that, come as you are. There is no dress code for a fitting like this.

If you need a breast form
Choosing a form is a personal decision, and there is not one right answer. Our fitters will talk through shape, weight, and how it should sit in your pocketed bra, and help you compare options in person rather than guessing from a photo online.
If you need compression
Compression garments, including circular knits, custom flat knits, velcro wraps, and nighttime garments, are also part of what we fit. If compression is new to you, ask your fitter to walk through the difference between the options so you know what you are wearing and why.
Getting insurance handled before you arrive
Most insurance plans cover mastectomy bras and a silicone prosthesis after a lumpectomy or mastectomy, regardless of how long ago it happened, and Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial plans each have their own replacement schedule.
